Employment by Program

This visualization shows the employment patterns of graduates from Ohio’s public postsecondary institutions. Use the filters to select the year of graduation and the number of years since graduation. Narrow results further by selecting a specific award, institution, and/or subject. Employment for the selected graduates will show in the graph below. If no filters are selected, the view defaults to 2019 Bachelor's degree recipients in each subject and institution.

The graph shows the percentage of graduates found working in Ohio along the bottom, and the median earnings per year on the left. Bubbles that are farther to the right represent a greater percentage of graduates who are working in Ohio, and those positioned higher up on the graph represent greater earnings.

Each bubble on the graph corresponds to one award area and one subject at one institution. The more graduates there are, the bigger the bubble. Hovering over a bubble on the graph displays additional details in the table to the right of the graph.

Some filter selections return a "Sorry, no data available with this search" message. This is because the employment data is not yet available or because there is insufficient data for that category. Adjust the selections to decrease the number of years after graduation, choose a more common award such as Associate's or Bachelor's degree, set the Institution filter to "All", and/or remove any Detailed Subject filter selections to only view the outcomes for the General Subject.
